Windham Parents/Guardians and Students!
We are excited to announce that Step Up Day is HERE!!
5th grade students will go on a in-district field trip to the WMS on Thursday, June 1st.
It is a day where our incoming new wildcats will be visiting Windham Middle School. It is a day where the student will se their classrooms, talk to the teachers, look at the lockers etc. Teachers will also talk to students about the expectations and the rules we have at WMS.
While this is an experience just for our incoming 6th grade students- there is a separate 6th grade orientation night in late August -that’s held right before the new school year begins. At that time, parents/guardians are invited to come and see the school, meet the teachers and staff, and ask any questions they might have about WMS, too.

Los estudiantes de 5to grado irán en un excursión dentro del distrito a la WMS el jueves, 1 de junio.
Es un día donde nuestros wildcats entrantes visitarán la Windham Middle School. Es un día donde los estudiantes verán sus aulas, hablarán con los maestros, verán los casilleros, etc. Los maestros también hablarán con los estudiantes acerca de las expectativas y las reglas que tenemos en WMS.
Esta es una experiencia sólo para nuestros estudiantes de 6to grado entrantes - Pero ya hay una noche de orientación para 6to grado por separado a finales de agosto - que se celebra justo antes de que comience el nuevo año escolar. En ese momento, los padres / tutores están invitados a venir y ver la escuela, conocer a los maestros y el personal, y hacer cualquier pregunta que puedan tener acerca de WMS, también.
